Flame Health Optometry - Optometrist Job - Abergavenny:

This is a superb optometry opportunity for an Optometrist to join this independently owned practice based in Gwent. Established since June 2000, they pride themselves on standard of advice and consistency of care.

Our client is seeking newly qualified Optometrist ideally, but will consider candidates with PQE re-takes at end of pre-reg period or candidates looking for a change from the High Street practices.

The role is to provide services of Private and NHS Eye Examination, Contact Lens fitting and aftercare and to do this to the highest standards as per the current service level offered by the practice. The appointment diary runs on 30 minute intervals.

You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy towards patients and be comfortable working as part of a team. The WECE/PEARS accreditation desirable but not essential.

The practice is situated in a busy market town with a varied demographic and has excellent working relationships with local GP surgeries. The 2 consulting rooms are fantastically equipped. The practice offer Private and NHS Examination; Contact lens fitting and aftercare; WECE and PEARS examination; Low vision assessments. There are a wide range of frames including designer style frames and an extensive sunglass range.
